Dan has been working in international trade for 25 years, a period which has included two overseas postings.
A strategic thinker, Dan now puts the knowledge and expertise he has gained into helping businesses with strong products and high growth ambitions to fully realise their potential in international markets.
Dan has worked with SMEs and major corporations in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. He has spent seven years co-managing the development of a food processing and packaging business in Asia, culminating in the set up of a manufacturing facility in China.
Passionate about the international trade opportunities for SME’s, Dan has established and directed sales and marketing organisations in both developed and high-growth new markets. He enjoys pioneering previously unexplored opportunities, working alongside businesses to scale their operations globally.
Used to working at both board level and on the ‘shop floor’, Dan has helped re-establish a division of a major PLC in the US; has had profit responsibility for a manufacturing plant in India; and has formed international sales networks for various SMEs with niche products and services.
Dan has an MBA with the University of Liverpool with a specialisation in Emerging Markets.
